Market Mix
Sometimes the side is the main event for me. No recipe required. I poked around in the fridge to see what vegetables I have left from Saturday's farmers market haul and quickly sauté them together.
I tend to buy a generous amount of produce on the weekend and prep it on Sunday so meals come together quickly during the week. It also helps when all I want to do is order a pizza. What? Yes.
For this dish, I simply chopped some garlic and ginger and cooked them together in olive oil with a pinch of red chili flakes. I added broccoli rabe, the remaining ramps I had, and some oyster and shiitake mushrooms that I had roasted on Sunday. I topped everything with a quick showering of garlic chives, because if you hadn't notice from my last two posts, the onion family is really on point right now.
Eager for this weekend's shop to see what else has popped up. Summer is a-coming.
